Understanding Instructor Qualifications
When you enroll in a driver’s class, it’s important to know who you’ll be learning from. Unqualified instructors can damage your chances of getting a license, especially if they cut corners.
At Brentwood Driver’s Training, our instructors hold Master’s degrees and are licensed by the state. Our team prioritizes genuine relationships with students to build trust and find new ways of teaching.
Teaching takes a particular person who can convey information effectively. Knowing this and applying it to driver’s ed can be difficult, but we have found a better balance. By hiring licensed school teachers, our instructors can connect with students and prepare them for the exam.
Master Driving Basics
Aside from the driving test, a written exam will be necessary to obtain your license. Our course will ensure you’re ready for the exam by reviewing essential material until it’s mastered.
To fully prepare our students, we emphasize the six key elements of driver training programs in our lessons. Since driving conditions change based on weather, we also encourage students to attend sessions even during rain or snow.
Our Tips to Remember
If you’re looking for an expert driving school, we can offer more than just our highly rated-instructors.
Below are a few recommendations to try & consider:
- Adjust your mirrors & seat ahead of time to avoid discomfort on the road.
- If you’re driving with a permit & need adult supervision, seek help from people with a calming presence.
- Be patient with yourself and focus on being intentional in each moment.
- Pull into a safe area if you feel uneasy or a loss of control behind the wheel.
Brentwood Offers Several Programs
Many people in Brentwood attend our school because it has three unique programs. Each one helps tailor the information to students to save time and ensure a full understanding.
We currently offer:
- Teen Driver Classes (Classroom)
- Home Driver’s Training (via Video)
- Individual Driving Lessons
Our teen course is open to students between the ages of 15 and 18, or 14 years old with proper approval. This is the most intensive course with classroom, behind-the-wheel, and simulation practice. Our home video course is recommended for all ages and people who need more flexibility.
With individual lessons, you can receive specialized instruction. This is great if you only want to focus on a couple of skills or need additional help.
You Can Find Us at Several Locations
Time is important to each family and new driver, so we have prioritized convenience. With several locations in the central Tennessee region, drivers can get premium training in their local community.
CBS News recently reported that 60% of respondents didn’t feel they had enough time in the day. Attending one of our nearby schools can help students gain information without making sacrifices. This can also carry over to parents and siblings, who don’t have to drive across town to drop off a student.
Here is a list of where to find each Brentwood Driving Campus:
- Nashville (Continental Building)
- Brentwood (Wilson Pike Circle)
- Franklin (Mallory Lane)
It’s important to note that our main office is located at the Brentwood location. Our Franklin and Nashville campuses are classroom-only.
Get Ready for the Road
There are a lot of small things you must do to get ready for the road, and each one matters.
The most important thing to do before driving is to get a good night’s sleep. Without sufficient sleep, distractions and response times can become an issue behind the wheel. Once you put the keys in the ignition, you must prioritize what’s ahead and how you react.
Although Brentwood can’t ensure you get enough sleep, we can help teach you about the dangers of driving while tired. This is why our classroom and virtual courses are beneficial because we review the basics, along with deeper driving details.
With new knowledge, experience, and self-trust, driving won’t feel as intimidating.
More about our Training Fleet
Using a family car for driver’s education can impact routines, which is why we have invested in a fleet of vehicles. Students can practice driving with more than 20 training cars without pulling their parents from the wheel.
According to the National Traffic Safety Administration, there was an 18% spike in fatal crashes for drivers between 15 and 20 years old. This data reflects the period between 2012 and 2021.
We have installed innovative tech in our fleet to help parents and new drivers feel comfortable. Our vehicles have separate braking and driving features to override students and ensure safety. They’re also equipped with navigation.
Make the Most of Our Driver Class Programs
When you try to find time to study and practice driving, you may encounter roadblocks and detours. For a clear path with fewer collisions, our school can expedite the process.
With various driver class programs to consider, you can get a specialized education with our team. At Brentwood Driver’s Training, we ensure students feel prepared for written and/or road exams. It’s natural to get nervous, but with enough practice and support, getting a license will feel effortless.
